Drayton Digistat RF1 - Heating not coming on

Have Vallaint Boiler with Drayton Digistat RF1 and SCR programmer running hot water and central heating. Lately programmer is not firing up central heating. This happens intermittently. Have re-set programmer etc.. and even removed SCR from backplate and re-set. This seems to work ok for a while. Any ideas?? - could programmer (SCR or RF1) be faulty? RF1 seems ok replaced batteries not long ago and SCR shows green light and red flashing light (demand for heating ok).

Sounds like the transmitter is playing up, you need to see what kind of voltage the transmitter has once its switched through to the receiver.

Normally a replacement!

Th. I'm not an expert so looks lie will have to call in a plumber. Is replacement RF1/SCR costly?

Deffo a professional job, and the last one I bought was about £100 inc vat,

Ta. Seen one on eBay for £19.99? Anyway re-setting SCR seems to have worked for now.
