The instructions with the new dual fuel towel rail we've had installed are in very bad English and, anyway, are pretty short!
Any chance of a couple of quick questions?
1. Do we have turn down the central heating control on the radiator when the electric element is on? Obviously, we wouldn't choose to run the central heating AND have the electric element on but mistakes can happen - is it dangerous?
2. Does anyone have better instructions for this type (picture of control display attached) please?

Thank you.

No you can leave the central heating alone don’t have to touch it eg in summer when you want the electrical part to operate

If you do run the central heating won’t harm it as there’s a thermostat on the electrical part so will just say it’s hot and turn off

As for the buttons

Top on and off
Left and right plus and minus temperature set point
Bottom back button or maybe display off / on

Cheers Shaun.
It said somewhere that "both valves" on the radiator have to be open. Surely, one is always open anyway or the central heating wouldn't work through it?

Correct that’s for expansion both should be open always
