Easi bleed

View the thread, titled "Easi bleed" which is posted in UK Plumbers Forums on UK Plumbers Forums.

I could see it selling in the DIY market as a cheap alternative to replacing a radiator for the penny pincher, had a few customers who have rounded off bleed nipples or snapped them that would have given this ago I reckon to save calling out a plumber. Have to commend your friend for coming up with the idea and bringing it to market it is not a easy thing to do. As others have said I Doubt many professionals would install or use it, could see it selling a few in diy stores though.

It's a good solution, the problem is pretty rare tho tbh... Looks a bit funny on front of rad too! I like the rapid installation tho, that's pretty good!!

In 8 years plumbing, I remember one radiator that had a sheared air vent (built in myson type) that would have benefitted from this design...

I want a similar device that can be attached to a 15 or 22 or 28 copper pipe for stubborn air locks etc, that would be a bigger target market, probs not as easy to design tho?

You can get self cutting drain offs, you attach them around the pipe then screw in. That would work as a vent
