I have an ecoflam minor 60/80 oil fired central heating burner which is refusing to start.

I have changed the burner nozzle but don't seem to be getting any fuel to the danfoss fuel pump.

Is it easy to remove and replace?

I wouldn't normally try doing anything like this myself but this is on our ex fishing trawler which is converted to a floating b&b in Troon, Ayrshire and I can't get an engineer to come and fix it because they all say that they are not insured or qualified to work on a boat. Driving us nuts because it's just a house boat attached to the dock.

Please help.

Thanks

Without an engineer being present one can not be sure the pump is the problem, possibly yes but could be something else ie. coil or drive couplings. Even if you did replace the pump and it was the culprit you would then need specialist equipment to set up the combustion afterwards, not just for efficiency but above all else safety. Try the OFTEC website, perhaps you’ll find someone on there.
