hot water luke warm. initially thought diverter passing since the flow to central heating was getting warm. however diverter only 6mth old. so took out plated heat exchanger, was clear as a whistle. by pass was checked. clean. new diverter fitted. same problem. also noticed that the boiler was now cutting back to 65 degress once it got to 72degrees? at one point the water got really hot so i went to boiler and noticed the SFh max boiler setting was on ? which i had not initiated? that went away and then the boiler was the same.
heating is working perfectly, and to be honest apart from checking the NTC i am stating to think PCB. but i cannot reason as to why it would be that. And cannot explain why the heating was getting warm at one point? i even checked the old Diverter with the plug connected, and it operated correctly, so there was nothing wrong with that. Spoken to vaillant installer who is also baffled?
