Evening courses painting and decorating

Hi guys, does anyone know of any painting and decorating courses that are run in the evening in the Kent area? Can't afford to take time off work to do it full time and don't want to do it on weekends unless I have to as I want to keep these free for possible private work. Not thinking of a career change but doesn't hurt to add a new string to my bow and certain aspects I can tie in to plumbing and heating jobs. Any help/info you can offer would be appreciated. Thanks.

Need yo learn to paint! A joiner Mate of mine always says " if you can p.ss, you can paint"

its one job that I would rather pay someone to do. Its all about perpetration.

lol I know what you guys mean but I can do a bit of tiling and just want to learn a few tricks of the trade (if it really is one) next on the list is a bit of plastering.

I'd do the plastering bit first if I was you pal would be more helpful

Sounds like a lot of hard work, may have to rethink.

Id do the plastering one first, far more beneficial.

I thought AP had missed day 4, cleaning brushes, but they are that well paid they just chuck them away and buy fresh 🙂

I always tell customer to find a decorator or do it them selves, it'll cost them too much for me to do something I don't want to do in the first place

main things you learn is wallpapering, stenciling etc, painting is easy if you use good brushes!!

Plastering first, I can paint & wallpaper ok, self taught.

Would I do it in a property other than mine???? Mmmmm.... Not sure.

Day 5 wash white dungarees .
I'd defo do taping or plastering as painting can be done by all of us and decorating is quite straight forward . As long as you match up each roll your laughing.

Tools needed.
Brush. Decorators caulk. Wooden table . Turps white dungarees . Scissors and Stanley and a radio that's covered in white speckles. Lol
