I have a fb page. And I use it to let my friends know I'm a plumber etc. sounds obvious but what I mean is I'm not directly looking for work from my friends......

But when friends of friends post that they are looking for a plumber. My friends tag me into a response to their friend and I get business.

Not a lot. But it's all good either way.

It's more about letting your friends spread the word for you.

I do the same, can't say I've had any work from it but got to be a good way of getting your name known, friends of friends and all that.
