Hi,
I always use Fernox F1 inhibitor, especially on stainless steel hexs. Is there any difference between the F1 and the Fernox System Protector ? (I used to use Fernox MB1 on the older conventional boilers)

Price i'm guessing?

I remember a Fernox rep mentioning how the F series cleansers were 'organic' so either self neutralising or the F1 did it but not certain which.

Give them a ring, there pretty helpful.

Cheers bightcrow. I was just curious really. The System Protector is approx £25.00 + vat for 4 litres locally.
The F! is £15.00 + vat for 1 litre locally (or half that with an on-line bulk order)
The F1 looks the same colour and same smell, taste etc :santa_cheesy: as the protector, whereas the old MB1 used to be a dark brown
I will check with Fernox to see what the difference actually is. Thanks again.
