Fitting an Under Sink Macerator Pump

I've a job on my list tomorrow to fit an under sink macerator pump. I'm assuming something like this:

InSinkErator ISE45 Waste Disposer

I've never fitted one, are they easy to install? Any tips would be grand...

If it is a sani flo variant. Then yes very easy to fit. Nasty to fix but a dream to fit. lol

Isn't that just a pump to pump out waste water from a few appliances? The one I'm fitting is a macerator

Confused people do call the vite a macerator so could be a sani or an ise 45.

I think a lot of people refer to all sani products as macerators.

If you find the installation is close to the pumps limits with a vite then look at the speed. Much stronger motor but louder for the extra 2m head gained.
