fitting bath & side panel

I'm currently installing a new shower bath - an Adamsez Mezza. I have a curved side panel to fit to this. There doesn't appear to be anything on the bath to locate this against - the feet are just screwed onto base of bath. Is it normal to have to build a wooden frame to fit side panel against? (This would be difficult with a curved panel!)
Also, as regards fitting the bath itself, I am unsure as to whether this itself requires a frame to help carry its weight (or batons on wall?). Manufacturer's instructions make no mention of any of the above. Any advice would be much appreciated....

Hi I am not familiar with this particular bath, but on similar i would make a couple of "T" shaped, made from batten, approx 6 mm longer than the height at the underside of the bath. Once the bath is up to the tile line slip the T in under and position top against lip of bath, tap leg in to tighten and screw to boards. As for panel. fit in position, draw the arc on the floor allow for the thickness of panel re. line and use ply wood this with will bend. fixing to floor with pre drilled blocks at say 300 mm centres.
