Flexi Tail Doesn't Fit Compression Nut

View the thread, titled "Flexi Tail Doesn't Fit Compression Nut" which is posted in UK Plumbers Forums on UK Plumbers Forums.

Hi all

Fitting a new monobloc mixer tap. The flexi tails that came with the tap (see first photo) don't fit the connection (see second photo). Is there a connector / coupler that will allow the flexi tail to connect to the compression coupling? If you could provide a website link to a connector / coupling that I could buy that would be great.

The previous tap had flexi tails with different ends than the typical sort that you'd get (see third photo).

Thanks for any help 🙂

Remove copper tails from bottom of service valves and connect flexis to valves

Hi Dave

Thanks for your reply.

Do you mean from here IMG_0259.PNG?

I'm not sure how to go about doing that?

I tried to remove nuts from front but no budging at all.

Thanks for your help.

Yes a good spanner and pair of grips should do the job if not turn water of at mains and see you can remove from top nuts so bottom nuts can be removed onfloor

best option would be to install some male irons where the old adaptors were

http://www.NoLinkingToThis/p/male-coupler-15mm-x-mm/69358

if you have basic hand tools like dave has said above then have a go your self

but if you havent best to call a plumber in shouldn't cost that much

brass flex tail connectors from toolstation come in 1/2 and 3/8

Can fit them in isolation valves or solder em
