buster gonads

Can you get a flue deflector for a Vokera compact 28 he, someone near me has got new neighbours who are moaning about his flue pointing towards there house [its been in about 6 years] which isnt infront of the flue but runs parallel about 5ft away, theres been a fan flued boiler there for over 10 years but his old neighbours didnt mind, any ideas lads before he falls out with his neighbours, cheers.

There is a plume management kit available 'Vokera 522 plume managment kit'
It is about 50 odd quid though. May be cheaper to send the heavies to the neighbours door instead.😉

Does not matter how long the boiler has been there,if against regs requires correcting ,although a fan flued boiler has been there for a long time, the HE condensing type would not have been, this makes a big difference due to regulations and at 5 ft plumage could quite easily damage opposite wall

So as said, get a plumage management kit fitted to flue and meet current regs and also enable everyone to enjoy the neighborhood barbies with no ill feeling !!
🙂🙂

imho

The flue isnt opposite the neighbours wall but points along side it about 5ft away from it as the boiler,s been sited in an extension which next door doesnt have, apparently the boiler was sited there before he bought the house, i think his neighbour is being a t*** as apparently theve had words about a water leak over the xmas period.

So how far is the flue termination point from the boundary and what height ?,if close could be worth fitting a plumage kit to raise and point it away from boundary

In all fairness if there was a water leak ,why not discuss it, would recommend anyone to try their best not to fall out with their neighbours if possible, causes to much grief and life’s to short

I,ll have a look at that for him Graham, thanks.

Bought him a 45% deflector for his flue outlet, £15 from PTS, cheap solution.
