Ford Transit Connect (New Shape) vs Citroen Berlingo

its not engines that bother me about french vans its the general build quality and on some the wiring i m running to fiats at the moment but not realy from choice ive mostly had transits as work vans only new van i ever bought was a renault extra day one i put seat covers on two years later i decided to change them and the seat under neath had shreded its self bits of trim fell of each week

6 months in with this van, covered about 12k so far so it's just short of 109,000 miles.

It's had a remap which makes it run even better.

I shall get you one when I'm back at work next week pal, this week I'm chilling in our caravan in scotland!

Just had a look at my neighbours new swb Transit connect (company van) and the thing that struck me was how far back the seats and the bulkhead intrude into the cargo area. When you open the side door you are faced with a good 9" of bulkhead so it looks bigger on the outside than it really is.

You seem to get better bang for buck with the citroen, but ive seen some not very old ones suffer with minor electrical issues, but the engines are pretty good!

I am biased towards Ford as i love everything ford, but as PJF said, the connects are stunning.

Also im lead to belive the time period & mileage between services is longer on the ford meaning less time in the garage and more time earning £££££
