Fumes and Water under burner

View the thread, titled "Fumes and Water under burner" which is posted in UK Plumbers Forums on UK Plumbers Forums.

So the building is filling up with fumes, there's water coming from beneath the burner and there's a 7mm hole in the flue.

I'm thinking the flue might be blocked and that's is causing water vapour to condense and come out the bottoms of the burner...?

And the hole in the flue needs fixed

Any thoughts would be appreciated, I know F all about burners

Boilers probably burst and the hole in the flue is where somebody's drilled it to get a flue gas analyser in. The hole would normally have a bolt in it or some high temp foil tape over it.
Also looks like the seal between boiler and burner has gone. Signs of poc on the boiler casing.

Ok thanks. We're waiting for an engineer to come
