Yeah - I know - no-one wants to have anything to do with these systems... but if there ARE any experiened bods out there who would care to have a stab at a diagnosis I'd be chuffed.

Shower in the morning early doors - no problem.

2 hours later shower and the aqualisa digital shower will get upto temperature fine and then run cold for 30 seconds then stabilise. This may happen once, four times or not at all during a ten minute shower.

Dont believe it's an shower problem as it can happen in both showers and even running the bath tap.

There may be a chance that the gledhill is too sensitive to changes in pressure from the incoming mains, as running another outlet, dishwasher kicking in etc seems to trigger the probs.

Anything I can check on the board??

Cheers

Russ

Haven't tried that Leaky. If it 'bypasses' the issue - what yould you suggest may be the cause? Is there a flow switch which may be suspect??

Cheers

Hot water thermistor on plate heat exchanger is faulty I suspect!
Used to fit loads of those c**p things

Or it could be the thermistor on the pump side!
Got a number for a guy who used to work for Gledhill who now repairs em.
Can forward it on for you if you want it.

Think i have one of these systems needing a new DHW sensor ............ can anyone thats done one say if they are in a wet or dry pocket ?

Cheers in advance 🙂

**Sigh**

Too much info for the public forum now!

Moving to the GSR private forum!

Don't think it needs to be in the gas forum though its a thermal store not a gas appliance.

Changed a couple of hw therm recently. Take off front panel and expose pcb . Besides the digital display are two buttons the bottom button sw2 i believe press it first valve will be top store stat press again bottom store stat third time hw stat. If this does no read a correct valve of about 50-60 degress it will prob read 85d which means faulty stat 5 min to replace just drain cold main, by the way run the tap while checking hw temp it will jump around as thermister faulty. As i said it will prob say h85 hope this helps
