Just installed a new glow worm 30c but wont fire up, just firs for a second then locks out on flame failure, :icon9: any start up tips?

A 30c what ? combi / system more info please did you remember to open vent on top of pump ? may just have air lock in boiler ! Is pump running ?

Its a brand new glow betacom 30c combi. I am an ex heating engineer so had a gas safe friend fit it with me, he had to leave abroad for xmas so I'm left with the commissioning...
Pump is running, vented from screw outlet from the bottom of the boiler, no air as such just a steady stream of water. Should I vent from above?
The flue is approx 1 metre long so fitted inlet reducer ring as per instructions. Condensate trap is full. cx?
Not sure about the gas pressure, the manual talks a lot about max and minimum operational setting?? http://www.glow-worm.co.uk/stepone/data/downloads_sd/b5/00/00/betacom-c-july-09.pdf
L/N wrong way round?

Thanks Simon,
What probes are you mentioning and what is the L/N.
I thought the gas pressure would be tolerant but can test it until it is running or can I?
Mark

Yes the all valves are open but not run for dhw yet, didn't think it necessary if boiler not firing for long. Do you think its worth trying?

Can't say I've seen one..zero governor? it may be Air Gas Ratio that'll be a cause, you should have 18mb min at inlet when boiler is trying to fire

The manual suggested inserting a reducer ring into the flue, i wonder if that's caused a restricted air flow.
