Hi,

glow worm fuelsaver mk2 50b cutting out after 10-15 mins and then it wont light up again, sometimes until next morning

I get a stong blue flame

how much do each of the following cost to replace on these boilers (part & labour):

replace thermocouple
replace overheat thermostat
replace gas valve

actually its a blue flam at the bottom and orange at top

Think you need an experienced GasSafe repair engineer to look at your boiler, should be able to diagnose which part if any required.

Turn it off now! heat exchanger is probably sooted up. Open flued version will kill you. Room sealed you might get away with it. In any event turn it off!

i got the same prob with a 40br mk2,,, have you solved the mystery yet?... i`d go with overheat stat and thermostat first, then gas valve... also check system not blocked or half air filled and pump works correctly..

did you change all this on your boiler having the same problem ....not much parts left to be change ain't 🙂

Not sure how Alchatraz got on, mine turned out to be Thermostat after all..
