Going to service a glow worm hideaway boiler on thursday, never done one of these before. Is there anything i should look out for carring out the service

flue there are lots of types of flues that can be fitted to the open fan flue boiler check its a correct one.if removing the burner the rope seal can perish due to age.

is the rope seal asbestos on a boiler that age?

shine a torch down heat exchanger to check for sooting,check rope seals,if heating is ok dont muck about with burner pressure as you will be called back when it 'kettles'.Good old boiler far more reliable than G/worms current crop
