I am looking for some advice on what could be causing the above to lockout. There is no fault indicated by the reset and flame lit led's. I believe it is overheat causing the problem or the thermister. The pump is operating and I have confirmed pump over run is wired correctly. Its a microbore system. When the boiler is reset it completes its ignition sequence just fine and runs quite happily for varying lengths of time turning off as the boiler stat is satisfied and relighting when the pump has pulled enough heat away. During the short time I was there it locked out 2 or 3 times shortly after the sound of loud creaking and banging as if the pipes above the boiler heated rapidly. Adjusting the boiler stat down has reduced how frequently it locks out. Any pointers? I am going back this week as I didnt have my multimeter with me on my first call so will check the thetmister resistance then.
