Hi all,
I went to a call out to fix a gas leak as British gas had capped off the meter.
I traced and repaired the leak.

Upon turning on the thermostat for central heating, nothing happend so i looked at the boiler and it had F1 and F22 come up on the display. The pressure was 2.8. After I reduced the pressure to 1.5, code F22 disappeared.

However, F1 still remains. There is gas at the gas valve. When you run the hot tap, nothing happens, pump doesn't start or anything.

Boiler turned off and on again.

Any ideas as to what it could be?

might need to purge a bit more out

and from the manual

"If the appliance still does not light & goes “F1”, turn the
throttle anti-clockwise a further turn and press the reset
button. The appliance will (after a short delay) again
attempt to fire. Repeat this procedure, up to a total of 2
extra turns on the throttle screw, until the appliance lights. "

Look for spark in view window on heat exchanger. Put u gauge on inlet pressure test point and switch boiler on if pressure drops gas valve is opening.

Thanks Shaun, I'll give that a try.

Buckley, there's no spark.. Nothing happens whatsoever.

Could it be simple thing as condensate trap too full? Didn't think to check at the time.
