Anyone familiar with these heaps?

Got one in a renter, lettings agency job.
Mysteriously fires up on heating without demand. Mind of its own. When its on you cant turn it off either.

Removed wiring from the programmer to rule that out and its still doing it so the issue is with the boiler.

Put a new pcb on about a year ago.
Cured it until this week then same again.

Are the pcbs really really wank and only last a year or is rhere an underlying issue causing the pcb to go haywire??

Cheers guys

be happy it works at all. if you have ruled out wiring up issue, is the diverter/microswitch
sticking half open and tap demand heating the rads
