buckley plumb

called to this today - remove spark electrode and clean and check voltage to ignition unit getting 80-95 volts ac on ignitor end of lead with lead disconnected from ignitor unit . speak to glowworm and they say I should only be getting approx. 58 volt ac and that its the board. not convinced I call back and are told replace igntion devise and lead and probe that adds up t over £100 if that does not work then replace board . not wanting a van of gloworm bits I recomend them to call glowworm

we usually bat them back to manufacturers for a one fix visit if parts and labour are going to be potentially more (for the customers sake and us getting our money). especially if the manufacturers technical are vague about fault.

if anyone services one of these this wk can you remove the lead from the zig unit and measure the dc voltage for me
