whats the paste for ? and is it needed as theres no evidence of paste from manufacture

and what tq for the nuts or just ft

(as they have nut on the heat exchanger

Been a while since last fitted one but don't recall any paste.
Just torque the nuts up equally until you are happy they are tight....but not too tight.

left it off in the end (paste) and did the to just over 10 inch foot pounds about 14nm for all the new ones

It's copper grease... Apply to the threads, helps them come off next time!

It helps with expantion noise, stops the cracking/ticking sounds as its heating up........ But don't over tighten the nuts A, it can make the noise worse and B, the studs have a habit of breaking, glowworm engineers torch them up to 6nm although you will never find that in any book lol

thats good to know doesnt make any noise atmo will keep an eye on it

why doesnt it say its for expansion and contraction and theres no english words on the packet anyone speak farsi ?

It's only a small packet of paste, I just guessed it must be for the threaded lugs, never knew it was for expansion noises, copper grease is used in mechanics a lot, it's high temperature stuff & stops stuff seizing I guess

I'm not sure ive never read the instructions and I've changed 100's?.......... But manufactures are not big on passing on their little tips
