Hi

Not been on for ages so 'hello' again!

Can anyone give me an approx cost on how much it would be to dig down a couple of feet to tee off a downstairs WC underground soil pipe so I can run one up the outside of the house to an as-yet unconnected WC directly one floor above? Seems quite a few plumbers don't do that type of work even if it's part of a bigger job. Hope that makes sense! Also would it make much difference if I did the digging out myself cost-wise?

Cheers

Not quite that simple. What material is the old pipe? You'll need an inspection chamber at the junction. Could be a couple of days work if it's old clay pipe.
