We did ten rads like that on a job we fixed timber on the walls to hold pipes in place when we first fixed when we came back the floors were screeded and pipes all over the place builder wouldnt pay extra for alterations so they went in much like those

And then he ran out of Solder elbows and used compression on the union

Compression on the union is common, allows meter to be blanked quickly

went to fit a new expansion vessel today in a school today, wasn't expecting this :nono:

old one had exploding sending top half of vessel straight through the ceiling of plant room and through that refrigeration pipework above that has now been repaired.
