I’m unicasmith, based here in Edinburgh, and I work in the home repairs sector—though lately, a lot of my day-to-day work revolves around plumbing. From fixing leaky taps to sorting out blocked drains and faulty toilets, I’ve come to appreciate just how common (and annoying!) plumbing issues can be for people.
I’ve been in this line of work for a while now and have seen everything from quick fixes to jobs that start simple and turn into a bit of a puzzle. It’s always interesting seeing how different people deal with plumbing problems—some dive into DIY solutions, others call for help the moment the water won’t stop!
