Hi lads, ea code on above boiler checked gas pressure at meter and boiler ok cleaned condi and electrodes and sensing electrode.
The boiler has an intermittant fault sometimes ok for 3weeks then 3 days then a week fault code always EA.

Any suggestions would be grateful

Well it sounds like you know your way around the boiler John and have had it somewhat to bits! Are you Gas safe registered? I think I may have a solution for you but it isn't really appropriate to post in this open forum alas 🙁

Hi diamondgas, thanks for the nice welcome. I am gas safe registered no analyser as yet doing course this month so could not post co/co2 ratio

Hi again diamondgas, received pm in the lakes for a few days will have a go when I get home I have fitted 4 off 37cdi and 1 off 42cdi no probs
with any of the 37,s only the 42cdi just out of guarantee sods law. All fitted for my family.
Will let you know how it goes.

No harm in trying what I've suggested John .. you can even remove them as a temp measure TBH 🙂 ... Let me know how you get on 🙂
 
Sozz SGI ... pm'd the op coz we're in an the open forum and offered a GSR engineer a possible fix .......... does that make sense? 🙂
