I have a Worchester Bosch 40 CDi with error code EA.

I've checked all the usual suspects but now I'm at a loss. I can hear the boiler clicking but it never fires up. Below is what I've tried so far;

Clean condensate
Replace electrodes (ionisation really worn)
Replace ignition lead (rubber badly deteriorated)
Clean heat exchanger (never been cleaned)
Check gas pressure (24mbar)
Check gas pipe for leaks (all sound)
Replace Bearing plate (torn rubber)

I now have no idea what this could be, it's as if there is no gas.

I notice someone had a problem with sticking regulator, how would you know if this was the case. I tested 24mbar at gas meter with manometer. Can I rule this out. Boiler will not run so I can't tell if pressure drops too much?

You should not be checking any of this if you are not gas safe Registered.

You want to tell your neighbours to either move out or increase their insurance cover.
Sounds like your an accident waiting to happen

What you have done requires specialist tools, knowledge and competency. Not to mention illegal and very dangerous! Please do you, your family and neighbours a favour and call out an GSR engineer and stop messing with things you know nothing about. This is the best advice you will get from this forum. We do not give advice out to non GSR folk about how to DIY with anything gas related. Hope you are not offended but this is for your own good my friend.

Just for reference don't do what this muppet has done

May see you on the 10 0clock news.😱 I would happily report you if I was gas safe and you asked me to do that. Hope you have the guts to tell the Engineer what you have done before you ask him to check the boiler. Breaking the law and being smug about it isn’t funny.
