Hi All

Hope you can help.

I fitted a replacement shower pump for a customer yesterday, all according to manufacturers instructions.
Customer just phoned to say that the pump comes on intermittently when shower is off but they are drawing hot water through taps.

I've fitted loads of pumps and never come across this before, could it be that there is still some air in the system?

Look forward to receiving any help you can give me.

ahhhh, its normally a pressure wave, they will probably have ceramic disc taps and they shut off very quickly sending a wave to all pipework that activates the flow switches in the pump that turns the pump on and causes another wave, and we have a cycle

Non return valves ideally on all taps, i have heard of some putting them on the pump out lets but it is not recommeded due to their restriction
