Just wanted to ask about CP12s im doing my first one this week i wanted to know what checks I should perform am i missing any? cheers

room sealed boiler

Flue integrity
combustion
burner pressure
heat input
Tightness

Cooker
pipework
chain/stability
flame picture
safety devices ssov, bypass, controls etc
 
Visual condition on boiler, fga boiler if u can also. Functionality, correct fuse in supply 3a
 
Check metre for continuity bonding (10mm) and before first tee.
check ECV has user label.
 
Check if any gas pipes run inside boxings, if yes are they vented?
make sure the 3amp fuse switch spur is within 1m of the boiler.

That's interesting, I'm obviously a bit behind in my regulations.

I find very few connections within 1M of a boiler.

I have had a pretty good look at the regulations but unable to this.

Can you guide me to this please.
 
I've just had a quick look and can't find anything, I know it's something that has to be noted down on a cp12 when we do council work.
Ill have a better look in a minute.

no not a regulation, as above a stipulation on a council contract.

Ahhh, right so this is a local thing then.

What council requires this?

You should not quote this as a general requirement as it may lead
others to to put the wrong information onto documents and cause
all kinds of problems.
 
Crawley council requires it to be noted on the cp12 along with the position if more then 1m away, it's not a bad thing to do in general and I haven't said it requires a notification (NSC, AR, ID) it's just an observation.
