Not entirely stupid, but not a plumber.
Hi.

Please be gentle with me.

New house beckons, after a flat with wonderful WB combi which never let us down except for the couple of times I accidentally hit the switch (pulling out brooms etc from cupboard) which turned off the HW heating bit. Puzzled about it for ages until eventually saw misplaced switch and slapped forehead (hard).

posting question in main bit soon.

Welcome Nonplumber. All been there, can't see the wood for the trees. Had one today in fact. Unplugged a flue distillation fan then puzzled why it didn't work hahaha
