Hiya forum, from the North east looking for plumbers mate work.

Hi, I've moved to the North east recently from New Zealand and am studying part time my NVQ level 2 in plumbing\heating\renewable energy(City & Guilds), I'm looking for work as a plumbers mate to gain the experience and skills you can only learn on site doing the job. The practical skills we have learnt so far include pipe bending(copper and some LCS),soldering, plastic pipe and push fit fittings. The theory exams include First aid, safe working practices in building services(H&S),communication within building services, understand pipework fabrication and site preparation, enviromental protection measures.

I am keen to work and learn, I have my own transport and am willing to travel so If anyone is looking for a reliable and honest mate in the NE please get in touch.

Hi Resolute, I was wanted by the law lol. No not really , my partner is from the East Midlands and she secured a Phd posting at Northumbria University.
