just came from a cust call to repair his betacom 30c.
now his boiler was installed a 9 months ago and he wasnt aware of any warranties on the boiler. ok i got his boiler working and rang gloworm to come and change the faulty part which they done this afternoon. fair enough.
told the custard to pay me my call charges and he started all the ballony:sick:, he didnt want to pay up so after a good 30 mins of arguing he finally gave up. and paid me.
it then struck me why was i honest???? i should have ripped him off, should have handed him a £200 bill!!! for the repairs + materials so in that way he would be happy that i done a good job and fired up his boiler!!!! I should have not mentioned the warranty.
what do you fellas think? im sure its happened to a fair few of you out there.

you're absolutely right mate! should of took the money, but thats easier said than done, u think ure helpin the custard out by sayin about warranty and diagnosing the problem, thats all u wanted paid for!! hope it breaks down again..
