Hi, I recently got a new mira reflex shower fitted to feed off an oil combi boiler. Ever since the water is very hot at first, so hot you have to put it on cold, after a few minutes it goes luke warm then very cool even when I have turned the tap to the hottest. Radiators & water are fine. Can anyone help? Thanks

Are you sure the boiler can cope with the amount of hot water the shower draws off? remember combi's only usually give 12l/m for the average sized combi, some showers look for more than that.
What boiler do you have?

Try leaving the shower running and then test the water temp at a tap.

If the tap temp is O.K it's a problem with the shower.

If it's a new shower it could be the shower faulty, inlet filter blocked or piped Hot /Cold wrong way round.

I'm not familiar with you fitting but if it suitable for both high and low pressure it is very likely you will have a flow restrictor to fit.

No mention in the instructors?

Since then the lockout light on the boiler keeps coming on, I have to keep pressing the reset button?

Sounds like an overheat issue on the boiler

Call A GSR water services engineer (or plumber as we like to call them!) to have a look, and at the same time get the boiler serviced
