Hi, I figured this would be the best place to try get this sorted, hope someone can help.
We put the heating on and everything works fine, water gets hot, radiators get hot etc...If we turn it off then everything gets cold.*The problem is that over the last few days we have noticed that it gets cold a lot faster. We had heating on all day from about 7am to 9 pm the other day, when I got up for work at 4 the next morning the water was only lukewarm.*We have a Pullin water cylinder with no leaks and can't find a leak anywhere else (I was told this could possibly be the problem).Nothing has been added, removed or changed in the systemAny ideas, things to check/test?Cheers folks

Well I've been told there's a chance it's the heating element or thermostat in the immersion tank and that I can check it. Would that have an effect if I was using gas boiler to heat up the water?

No, I was told to check that, there's an audible switch off when I hit the switch. Same when turning it on, you can hear it kick in and sort of speed up then it hums softly till turned off. No change there in 20 years. I can see floorboards coming up soon. Bah.
Might be easier rip ceilings down actually.
