Hot water pulses out of tap

When I switch on the hot water tap in the bathroom, the water starts to pulse out, then water reduces to a trickle. Have to turn tap on more fully to get more water.

Yes. Grant oil combi

it sounds like its a restrictive tap for the combi

is it also quarter turn? ie to turn the tap on fully you can only turn the handle a quarter of a turn

No. Can turn the tap a couple of times
