icos and y plan

been to an ideal icos 24he today fitted with y plan and honeywell rf room stat/ grunfoss smart pump / twin channel programmer. customer said boiler would trip electrics. put boiler on and it worked for 10 mins before tripping the rcd on the fuse box. checked resistance on boiler fan / gas valve and all ok .once it trips you can switch the power back on and it will run for another ten mins.tried pulling the plug from the boiler and just running the system without the boiler and it tripped like this but trips more when the boiler is on. i am now assuming pump or zone valve or programmer or honeywell sender switch unit to rf stat. checked the pump resistance and that was ok but could it be breaking down under load ? . anyone got any advice i dont want to start throwing parts at it.need to sort asap as its a pensioner.

The most likely components are those in contact with the water so check the zone valve and pump first. Check the orientation of the pump. There plug must face down or to either side. If the plug faces upwards there can be a problem with condensation in the control box.
