Ideal boilers

Anyone shed any light on ideal boilers catching fire , something about air pockets in the heat ex ? ,in a fault condition , thanks ray .

Hopefully not too common as I’ve just had an Ideal vogue system boiler installed

I believe they moved or removed a sensor then under fault conditions the hex melts etc

Only affects the logic range
A small number manufactured between August 22 and January 7th can be affect.
Advice from Ideal is to keep system pressure at 1.5 when cold.
