I was wondering if there is a fumes extension kit availablefor this boiler. Old boiler but very reliable and I don’t want to change it. Thealteration that I am planning will require for the plumes to be directed 600mmto the left to comply with regs. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

There is no such thing as a plume extension (plume management kit) on a non condensing boiler. You may be able to get internal flue options, if they are still available. But doubt it.

you have asked this on another thread. Don't troll the UKPF or I will delete you.

Not a very nice welcome , still finding the way around the forum, did not know I cant ask same question on different threads , however thank you for the advice looks like the boiler will need to go

You're still here which should indicate that I was being nice.

The place where I want the boiler moved will give only 300mm distance from the boundary, the flue will be moved in the same wall but whenyou measure will be roughly 300 mm from the fence, it is a semi detached house, now is placed over 1500mm away from the fence, the plan is to move it on theother side of the window to allow for kitchen extension ie closer to the fence. The new regulation was mention by a gas save engineer who had a quick look.

300mm flue terminal pointing parallel with the boundary, not pointing towards the boundary. Part J Building Regulations.

Part J Building regulation , I had a look and yes it is Location (H) which is 300 mm , I have 600 mm from the boundary to the start of the window, Location (C) so if those sizes are measured to the centre of the flue I am OK by placing it in the middle, H and C satisfied. If not will need to go slightly up and right above the window but only if this was possible by getting flue extension for this boiler. For what I can see so far there is internal horizontal extensions/sleeves.
Also I guess these sizes are for the intake of air as well, which if I am going for a new boiler still can’t be done.

It's from the edge of flue not center. Also a new boiler has a lot more flue options. Could I suggest an ideal vogue or logic plus ?

Thanks guys, time for a new boiler , system or Combi that's another question.🙂 but will see what the engineer will say
