Helpppp I had a new PCB fitted around 6 months ago, recently my diverter leaked so ive replaced the diverter and the actuater head, The problem is the control panel will not reset when pressed and the heating works but will not turn of and the actuter head moves forward when turning on but then moves back and will not move forward when hot water is called the display constantly say D even when the heatings on and again once the hot water taps turned on the boiler ignites but gives me heating and again wont turn of just keeps burning has my PCB gone again.

yes was fitted by homefront scheme but need it working again before british gas will insure and cover it

common faults of the pcb are
No power- PCB has failed with no display but the 3.15a pcb fuse is intact. (incoming supply checked
Alternating L E flashing
Alternating H E flashing
Alternating L F flashing

But its not supplying any of these faults completely strange and its becoming very costly

Did you personally replace the diverter or get someone in to? Reason I ask is that it sounds like its not working correctly?

Diverter and actuater were replaced by an engineer, They work when the boiler is started but fail after that and the actuter is not moving forward as it did in the start up also why is the reset doing nothing

If the display is on 'd' constantly then the boiler is trying to pre-heat the plate hex but it sounds like your diverter valve is stuck in the heating position? What actuator, red or grey? And is the head correctly installed?

the actuater head is grey on start up the valve moves forward but once the hot water is called for after that it wont move, so i no the diverter and actuater are working as they do what there supposed to on start up its as if what ever tells the actuater to move forward isnt doing so

Sorry got my lettering wrong before 't' is pre-heat, 'd' is hot water demand 🙂

Does the display stay on 'd' or does it change to 'c' for centrall heating stealthy?

Most likely your hot water thermister is faulty IMO.

would that cause the display panel to become unresponsive though as the reset button no longer works either and this whole problem was caused originaly by a leak from the diverter

Actually thinking about it, do you have a dripping hot tap?

Try turning the cold mains supply off to the boiler and see if the display changes to heating demand 'c' ... 🙂

Regards the re-set, its a little switch that could well have gone gaga!

turned of the supply turned the boiler back on and the boiler did its start up and stayed on the burner wont shut off and the pressure went right up to 4

Well I think it's in need of a GSR engineer visit 'stealthy' .... Extremly weird that the pressure went so high, turning the cold off wouldn't cause that, that's for sure!!! 😀
