Not bad. I wanted to put a vailliant 831 in my brothers house but now, because of the warranty on this and the price difference, i think i might reconsider. i saw one in the merchants the other day and they are quite small

good boilers, easy to install, look easy to repair also.

don't know about reliability only time will tell, but quite impressed with them

I've fitted over 30 of these now, all have been good,

Only problem I can see with big warrantys are, good for customer, but bad news for us guys!!!

I agree Alpha man regards the repair side! read their get out clause also! The boiler warranty has to be registered by the customer within 30days or it reverts to 12months! Says so on their web site also! Only worked on one so far, the flow turbine had disintegrated...! I heard someone mention something about their earlier models having trouble with the heatexchangers leaking ... Think it was the Logic? They'll not guarantee parts failing because of dirt either, here's a link to the warranty terms [DLMURL="http://www.idealheating.com/product-literature/ideal-plus-warranty.php"]Ideal Boilers - Ideal+ Warranty[/DLMURL]

Agreed on the facts stated above, But will also say they are a good boiler and easy to fit

The 7 year figure is a stalk ambitious by any manufacturer and will only be honored if all boxes are ticked in the correct order.
That said I have fitted many Logics both system and combi and have had very few issues.
I have also replaced 3 year old the non preferred vokera & heatline and the like that are not worth repairing
