Went up to do this course today, just though I'd post a few thoughts whilst still fresh in my mind.

Boilers look like good products, nice and simple, yet solidly made.

All components came out easily, with minimal messing about, though this is always the case on demo units as they are apart so often!

Rear flue on the heat only will be handy in certain circumstances, shame its not available on system and combi's (not it's slightly off center)

Would I fit one? I would have no hesitation though not sure if it would be my first choice, will definitely give on a go to what they are like in the wild though!

A point of interest, I hadn't realised Ideal had bought out Keston, and spotted a couple of logics badged up as kestons, but with the twin 'waste pipe' flueing system, which could be useful in some circumstances.

All in all a good day and worht the time 🙂

There is not many positive posts on here about the keston but the logic does seem to appeal to be getting some support.
I have fitted many Logics (in the 100,s) with little hassle but the isar finished ideal for many engineers

I agree my experience of Kestons have been wholy negative to date, but was interested that you could get what was effectivly a logic and use it with the fluing system that keston use, interesting. Would make it possible to run 6m lengths with no joints when in voids drastically reduces number of inspection hatches required.

The isar finished ideal for many engineers

Saw one of these today to do a LLGSR, service 2 months ago by warmfront, leaking from thermistor and condensate trap blocked solidly, tenant said the bloke was only on site for 15 mins.

I still can't get over how poorly laid out these boilers are, doing anything on them seems to be more awkward than it should be.

Agree, the condensate is a pig to remove / refit and like everything on this boiler you need hands the size of a 7year old.

I can only imagine warmfront must have got them at a amazingly good price as it's all they seem to have fitted around here.

Warm front and Ideal had a little thing going on, and I think their offices were both based in the same building at one point. They have since fallen out and now go separate ways.

I love the warmfront / heateam thing because I have earnt half my wages from the repairing boilers like the isar for the past few years
