what do you use to fga an ideal logic faced my first one today and found the test point on top is to small for a probe and to big for a hose luckily it was ground floor so fga'ed down the flue

1/4 " manomiter tube pushed onto end of probe. New ones have test point on flue. Whenever you go to a logic range boiler double check the flue clip is on properly. Black clip in center should protrude and the shoe shouldn't come off easily.

A monometer - is a sealed end.
A manomiter is a standard manometer cut at 45d and glued to make a 90d corner

That's the worst thing about those boilers, that and the pressure gauge being on the flow. Other than that they're great!

Like suggested a manonometer tube onto your probe. Just means it won't read fuel temps

to add to my original question i did another one today which had a smaller connector for the fga which a manoneter tube fitted on
There are some out there with larger conectors the larger one is plastic black and angled forwards im still not sure what will fit that

Never seen one tbh , fitted 100s and serviced 100s normally tube and spit sorts it all. You can get current values (flow rate and temp ) on screen by turning DHW and ch to min and hold on reset for few seconds. Up pops last 10 faults and values.

Buy an 8mm combination spanner makes servicing a lot easier , if boiler is older than 3 years carry a spare gasket . They get a bit ratty after 3 years. Also call ideal tell them u replaced the filling loop as broken... Can they send u new one out as boiler under warranty..... Will arrive at your office foc!

It will go on with some elbow grease. Service mode and faults only on logic plus. Ideal dont want the co2 altering they are only concerened with the ratio.
