Hello wondered can anyone help with a query? Fitting a 50 gallon coffin tank in roof eave, (dormer bungalow) but because of house design having to use eave on opposite side of house to hot water cylinder about 7 metres away.( the eave on the hot water cylinder side is to small). Is there any problem with this other than the Hassel of extra pipe work? Many thanks for any answers.

Hi, About cold water tank in eave, the tank is a 65" long coffin tank and will span weight over 5 8 x 2" joists do you think this I'll be OK?

Thanks for reply, so I am hoping that it should be OK about same weight as double bed with two people or a large bath with one person. Should have said its a new build so building control won't be long telling me to change it. Cheers.
