I have a Ferroli F30 . which is giving intermittent hot water to the shower and taps. Could someone advise me please.
I am a retired heating eng first registered with corgi in the70s. I do no work now for other people.

there is no plate heat exchanger on the f30 boiler check the following

is the light lit when the hot water tap is running if it is not replace hot water flow meter
check hot water thermistor resistance refer to MIs if faulty replace
if boiler fires on hot water then goes out after a short period rmove the combustion chamber cover 4 screws and retry if boiler stays on it is either the fan or aps

hope this helps

to rm1 ,Thank you for the reply, I posted more details in my first "thead" on the site but I think I posted in the wrong section. I have been watching the boiler for some time now to observe the symtoms and I thought it might be the Flow meter or the flow temperature sensor.
I will go for a Flow meter exchange.
Thank you for your advice, I will let you know how I get on , feedback is always a good thing.

Hi tamz thanks for the reply, I thought it may be the flow meter or the DHW temp sensor.
I am going for the flow meter for starters as I dont have to drain anything down. I wil let you know how I get on. I know feedback is always helpful.
Cheers plumbo2
