internal hobs with extractor hoods or fans

Manrose PVC White 3m x 100mm Ducting Hose | NoLinkingToThis seen this used lots of times on extractor fans and hoods to hobs on internal kitchens run in loft to ext wall - I am not fond of it to me it rips to easy and poc could be vented into loft space - what are others thoughts .

I used rigid stuff. Poc would be so dilute don't think cause an issue?
