Is it a good idea to connect a 80l elec water heater to a recirculating pump?

I already have a recirculating pump (RP) in my boiler room which works with both my gas water heater and thermal wood stoves and 1000l water resevoir. This is great in winter.

I now have a photovoltaic system and plan to fit an electric water heater to use in the summers but ive been advised not to connect it to the RP . I live in a large double story house, 4 bathrooms, upstairs and downstairs, but am a single occupant. I only switch on the RP when i need hot water via voice control Alexa and its programmed to switch itself off after 8 mins in the bathrooms and 4 mins in the kitchen, so its not running constantly.

I live in italy and Ive been told by plumbers my system is a bit complicated and intricate but I can provide a brief explanation as i understand it if needed

Id love to hear your thoughts

Can’t see why providing you use it on and off as you currently do

I can see there logic behind not running it as if on constant it would drop the store temp / waste heat through natural Heatloss of the pipework

Hi Shaun
Thank you for taking the time to reply and for giving me some hope.

Two more questions if you don't mind.
Does the temperature the RP is set at pose a problem, it' has a tempersture dial and can be set at any temperature?
He mentioned this as a problem as well as that it it would also be very expensive to make it work with the RP and wouldn't be worth the install.

Is it really that more of a complicated install.

Best Regards
