I am currently in the throes of installing a new heating system which consists of :

Esse WD35 solid fuel range
Worcester Bosch Greenstar Oil Boiler
Santon Plus Solar Cylinder (solar is a future upgrade)
H2 Panel to control it all

I will be fitting a normally open Honeywell V4043B valve to a heat leak rad which will obviously fail open in a powercut or when the high limit stat cuts the power to it. My question is do I need to connect up the auxilliary switch on the valve or can I just hook the stat into the motor (brown/blue) to open the valve on a high temp to dump the heat?
