Hi guys, there does not seem to be a drain valve on any of the downstairs rads. However this is outside and is in line with the radiater pipe in side the house. Could it be the Drain?

I have undone the nuts but it appears to be blocked off at the top

If it is the drain, if i cut the pipe below the threaded part how can i put a drain on it.The pipe is only 3cm from the floor to the bottom of the thread.

a bit worried it might be a capped gas pipe lol boom!
