Is that at Stainmore? Used to look after the roadside weather stations in ***bria 20 years ago and checking the one at Stainmore in February was a pig: had to put the ladder up on the carriageway side, freezing yer pods off despite being wrapped in waterproofs, balaclava, wooly pully, the whole lot looking like the provos meet the roads dept, with artics thrashing past at 60+ just a few feet from yer backside!

Nothing new there. Down by the Sands and the fire station was always getting flooded as well as Brunton Park (at least Carlisle had an excuse for their cr@p playing!) and Botcherby. Glad to say I was up Scotland Rd, well above any possible floods!

Bad last week end due to severe flooding in Lancaster. Substation flooded and no power on Saturday from 22:40 till 05:30 Monday, then off again at 16:00 till 07:00 Tuesday.
